Honesty |
Luke 8
11"This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of
God. 12Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil
comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe
and be saved. 13Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word
with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but
in the time of testing they fall away. 14The seed that fell among
thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by
life's worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15But
the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the
word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
Mark 10

adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your
father and mother.
Leviticus 19
35 " 'Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length,
weight or quantity. 36 Use honest scales and honest weights, an

Egypt.
2 Corinthians 8
20We want to avoid any criticism of the way we administer this
liberal gift. 21For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only
in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of men.
Deuteronomy 25
14 Do not have two differing measures in your house-one large,
one small. 15 You must have accurate and honest weights and measures,
so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you. 16
For the LORD your God detests anyone who does these things, anyone who deals
dishonestly.
Psalm 24

place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift
up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.
Proverbs 12

tells lies.
Acts 24

Hebrews 13

injustice.
