Faith |
Hebrews 11
By Faith
1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of
what we do not see.
Hebrews 11
6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone
who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who
earnestly seek him.
Romans 10
17Consequently, faith comes from hearing
the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
Ephesians 2
8For it is by grace you have been saved,
through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- 9not
by works, so that no one can boast.
Romans 14
23But the man who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his
eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.
Romans 5
Peace and Joy
1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we
have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Mark 11
22"Have faith in God," Jesus answered.
Matthew 17
20He replied, "Because you have so little
faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you
can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing
will be impossible for you."
Galatians 2
20I have been crucified with Christ and I
no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by
faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
1 Peter 1
6In this you greatly rejoice, though now
for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
7These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which
perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in
praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8Though you
have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you
believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9for
you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
