¹⁴ The faithless will be fully repaid for their ways, and the good man rewarded for his.

⁴ I thought, "These are only the poor; they are foolish, for they do not know the way of the LORD , the requirements of their God. ⁵ So I will go to the leaders and speak to them; surely they know the way of the LORD , the requirements of their God." Jeremiah 15
⁶ You have rejected me," declares the LORD . "You keep on backsliding. So I will lay hands on you and destroy you; I can no longer show compassion. ⁷ I will winnow them with a winnowing fork at the city gates of the land. I will bring bereavement and destruction on my people, for they have not changed their ways.
