For the Abusive Person
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the
church, and gave himself for it.... So ought men to love their wives as their
own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated
his own flesh; but nourisheth it and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (NIV)
Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor
idolaters nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the
greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of
God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were
sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the
Spirit of our God.
Galatians 5:22, 23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such
there is no law.

Peter 3:7
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to

heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
